The challenge of this project was
to express an unmistakeable personality with a simple form,
in a product that had to maintain an adequate production cost and pass the highest tests foreseen for chairs in public places.

The creative work of Nico Smeenk was inspired by the Möbius band concept and then developed in a battle between full and empty, where every millimetre of material was negotiated with the limits and opportunities of the technologies that supported us.
Body in polypropylene reinforced with fibreglass, legs in aluminium. Conceived for outdoor furnishing,
it revealed it's versatility for indoor use too.
